Cerexagri is a global crop protection company, manufacturing and marketing a full line of crop protection and postharvest agricultural chemicals. Products incorporate biological, mechanical and chemical ways to aggressively control food pests while minimally affecting the environment. Crop protection products include a full line of fungicides, harvest aids, insecticides and aquatic algaecides, herbicides and biocides. Fruit coatings, cleaners and sanitizers, and Decco® brand storage treatments make up the postharvest product line.

Cerexagri owns and operates facilities throughout the world. For example, the company makes dithiocarbamate fungicides in Netherlands and Spain. Four plants in France manufacture copper, sulfur and microencapsulation products. The Decco postharvest operation has formulation units in Israel, Spain, France, Italy and the U.S. The company carries out industrial research and development in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, King of Prussia, PA, and Vernon, France.

The name Cerexagri combines that of the goddess of agriculture, Ceres—who brought the earth to life each spring—and agri from the Latin word meaning "field." The company's history dates back to 1932, when progenitors began selling cryolite as a pesticide. This early organization introduced Endothall salts in the 50s, partnered with Nippon Soda in the 60s, and with acquisitions in the 70s and 80s, became one of the top fungicide companies in the world. Since then the organization has diversified with products devoted to the Aquatic, Turf and Ornamental, Specialty Crop Protection, and Decco postharvest crop markets.

Cerexagri focuses on these target markets to promote growth. By concentrating its efforts, Cerexagri gains a better understanding of the problems faced by customers. Continued development of existing compounds, along with acquisition of new ones, will help provide customers with additional solutions for crop protection. Combining the problem solving skills of its field development team and laboratory groups will lead to the development of products that offer the effective controls needed by growers. At the same time Cerexagri plans to better meet the environmental and worker protection requirements demanded in the 21st century.

In addition to growing and strengthening its product portfolio, Cerexagri is working to enhance customer relationships through personal contact, technology and distribution of relevant information.
